My second level designed for the game Portal 2, and part of the "MapCore Perpetual Testing Challenge" at MapCore.org, where the restraint was to design a test chamber using only the Puzzle Maker (PeTI, a simplified level editor), leaving the Hammer Editor aside. So, the map couldn't receive any props or textures.

Indirect Ctrl is a short level where I experimented with a new mechanic of transposing a path in a way that I had never seen before. In it, players use a single laser emitter to activate a series of laser catchers and combine the available puzzle elements, such as the excursion funnel, to activate hidden staircases on the walls. This results in a kind of bridge that players can use as a platform to reach the exit. There's an easteregg. Can you find it? Learn more on the article below:

Behind the Level: Indirect Ctrl (article)

Responsibilities: Designed and built the entire level in the Puzzle Maker (Perpetual Testing Initiative, PeTI) for the duration of the challenge. Iterated the level based on solid playtesters' feedback.
